What makes Biosorra unique?
Affordability of our product, Biochar Bora
Most smallholder farmers cannot purchase available synthetic fertilizers due to their high costs. Fertilizers must be purchased and applied around five times per year, during planting, topdressing, and sometimes liming. (Business Daily Africa 2021) The cost of production can be drastically reduced by switching to Biochar Bora, as costs will be much cheaper than continuously buying fertilizer.
Regenerative Agriculture School to farmers on climate-resilient cultivation
BIOSORRA is the leading Biochar Industry in East Africa, understanding that simply providing Biochar Bora is one part of the puzzle. It provides regenerative agriculture education to farmers to ensure they can effectively harness the power of Biochar Bora while adapting to their needs to get their yields to their highest potential.

BIOSORRA X PAF Partnership
BIOSORRA and Pace Able Foundation have joined hands to create over 5 demonstration farms in our focus counties to serve as dedicated agricultural sites where an array of techniques, technologies, and innovations are meticulously showcased to farmers, researchers, and the broader community. These sites play a pivotal role in propelling the advancement of agricultural practices and knowledge dissemination. We have utilized these demo farms as a platform to have a farming school about Biochar Bora with farmers, focusing on its value for different crops and measured:
1. Farmers’ cost savings from utilizing BIOSORRA’s Biochar Bora.
2. Increased crop yields.
3. Improve soil health.
